  • Overview

    McCormick Taylor is seeking a mid-level civil/municipal engineer to manage municipal projects from inception through construction, and to serve as the primary contact person for municipal clients. We offer a full range of professional services to municipalities, from project conception through planning, evaluation, design, and completion. Experience to include representing clients at public meetings, contract negotiation and administration, marketing, and project budgeting. Technical skills should include drainage and storm water management, highway and traffic engineering, environmental permitting, and construction management. Familiarity with PA Municipalities Planning Code required.


    • Manage the construction and inspection of municipal projects from inception through construction.
    • Serve as the primary contact person for municipal clients.
    • Strong public presentation, communications and technical writing skills.



    Experience with Municipal Clients
    • 4-7+ years strong civil/municipal experience working with local governments, including the Philadelphia suburban region.
    • B.S. in Civil Engineering.
    • Pennsylvania P.E. license required.
    • Strong public presentation, communications and technical writing skills.
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
    • Familiar with PENNDOT standards and procedures.
    • Familiar with land development requirements in Pennsylvania.
    • Familiar with PADEP requirements for erosion sedimentation controls.
    • Familiar with federal, state and local requirements for storm water management.
    • A valid PA driver’s license is required.
