Overview

We are looking for a Human Resources Generalist to join our Philadelphia office. We need an energetic, outside of the box thinker that likes lots of variety in the work day. This role will report directly to our Director of Human Resources, and work closely with our Benefits Coordinator.

 

This position will be involved in the day-to-day operations and administration of benefits, human resources policies, procedures and programs, employee relations, training and development, and compensation in addition to assisting and advising company managers about Human Resources issues.

Responsibilities

  • Process all new hire and departing employee paperwork
  • Maintain all employee files, and the ADP database
  • Benefits paperwork and administration
  • Review and update all manuals and forms regularly
  • Verify and maintain compliance with all state and federal agencies
  • Conduct background and drug screenings on all new hires
  • Research, help negotiate and administer the Wellness program
  • Remain compliant with ACA
  • Conduct office visits to discuss HR topics
  • Assist with Town Hall meetings
  • Electronic scheduling appointments
  • Responsible for offer letters, and orientations
  • General administrative tasks- copying, filing, collating, and scanning

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management or a related field
  • 2-4 years of previous HR experience
  • Previous ADP experience is a HUGE plus
  • PHR/SPHR certification a plus
  • Enthusiasm and passion for the HR field
  • Understood sensitivity to confidential information
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and verbal, and writing skills
  • Attend to a heavy project load in a timely manner
