McCormick Taylor is looking for an enthusiastic and energetic team member to support the Facilities and Asset Department based out of our Philadelphia, PA corporate headquarters. This position will report to the Facilities and Asset Manager, but will be supporting all departmental activities. We are looking for someone with the drive to learn several different aspects working within a department supporting such functions. The ideal candidate is going to be a flexible team player, open to a supporting role wherever needed.


  • Scheduling meetings and reserve conference rooms as necessary for Facilities and Asset related matters
  • Evaluates, prioritizes and logs service requests; handle routine inquiries, complaints and questions via telephone, e-mail or in person
  • Preparation, receipt and delivery of all incoming and outgoing mail
  • Performs other duties as assigned or directed to ensure the smooth operation of the department
  • Various research and administrative projects related to Facilities and Asset Management


  • Bachelor's Degree
  • General knowledge of administrative procedures and best practices
  • Good knowledge of standard computer software (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook including contacts databases) and Internet search engines
  • Knowledge of Real Property programs and procurement management principles and practices a huge plus
  • Previous experience working within a Facilities department a plus
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; Detail-oriented
  • Ability to deal with simple problems involving multiple facets and variables in standardized situations
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions and instruct others, write reports, correspondence and procedures, speak clearly to customers and employees
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems quickly and discreetly
