Overview

McCormick Taylor is looking to expand our Philadelphia Headquarters with a Human Resources Administrative Assistant. The position will be responsible for a variety of administration duties, clerical work, and special projects.  The ideal candidate will be customer service oriented with a “can do” attitude, and have the ability to communicate accurately and clearly.  We are in search of someone with a positive approach to work; self-starter with the ability to anticipate office needs in advance.

 

The hours for this position are Monday - Friday; 8 AM - 5 PM.

 

Responsibilities

  • General administrative and clerical duties to support the Human Resources department as a whole
  • Assist VP of HR and additional HR staff with scheduling of meetings and travel planning.
  • Excellent customer service skills, including extensive interaction with McCormick Taylor employees company-wide
  • Assist with HR correspondence, forms, and submissions
  • Maintain calendars, schedule meetings and conference rooms for HR staff.
  • Operation of multi-line phone system as well as overhead paging
  • Special projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in an administrative role
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Advanced MS Work PowerPoint and Excel skills
  • Adobe Acrobat experience a huge plus
  • Sharepoint experience a huge plus
  • Excellent time management skills with ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Self-starter, able to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and problem solving skills, attention to detail.
