    McCormick Taylor is seeking a knowledgeable, responsible, detail-oriented Information Technology professional for our Baltimore, MD office location.  The qualified candidate will be highly motivated and self-driven, have strong PC problem solving, customer service and troubleshooting skills, and an ability to learn new software applications quickly.  


    Reporting to the Office Coordinator and Philadelphia-based Manager, Information Technology, this individual will perform a wide range of tasks from general office administration to computer maintenance and support for 80+ end users. Hours are Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm.  A willingness and ability to be on call, some travel and working overtime on an as-needed basis are important parts of this position.




    Essential responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

    • Maintains, troubleshoots and repairs hardware and software for Microsoft Windows based computer systems
    • Knowledge of domain networks, network administration including maintenance of user account information, computer virus/malware remediation
    • Maintenance and support for computer peripherals including network printers, plotters, telephone devices and other network equipment
    • Ability to operate in spreadsheets, word-processing, graphics and website development programs
    • Provide ongoing support for end users via both on-site and remote support



    Education and Certifications

    • Associate’s degree in Information Systems or equivalent experience
    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Products
    • A+ Certification


    Work Experience Requirements:

    • 3 to 5 years’ experience in similar role is required
    • Self-starter, able to work effectively independently and as part of a team
    • Excellent time management skills with ability to juggle multiple priorities
    • Strong organizational and problem solving skills;  excellent communication (oral and written)


    Special Qualifications, Training & Skills:

    • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Windows Server and Microsoft Exchange Server
    • Experience with Bentley software a plus
