McCormick Taylor is seeking a licensed senior municipal engineer to manage municipal projects from inception through construction, and to serve as the primary contact person for municipal clients.  We offer a full range of professional services to municipalities, from project conception through planning, evaluation, design, and completion. 


Experience to include representing clients at public meetings, contract negotiation and administration, and project budgeting. Technical skills should include land development review, drainage and stormwater management, civil design, environmental permitting, and construction management.


In addition to having a strong technical background, the ideal candidate will be an integral participant in forging the growth and development of McCormick Taylor’s Municipal Engineering Market in the Philadelphia region. The Senior Project Manager will assist with the overall marketing effort of clients in southeastern Pennsylvania and expand the municipal engineering group.


  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience working with local governments
  • An extensive knowledge of the Philadelphia Regional Municipal Market
  • Experience working as a consulting municipal engineer in Bucks, Chester, Delaware and/or Montgomery Counties
  • Strong public presentation, communications and technical writing skills
  • Familiar with the MPC and land development requirements in Pennsylvania
  • Familiar with federal, state and local requirements for stormwater management
  • Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Pennsylvania.
