McCormick Taylor is seeking a Water Resources/H&H Engineer to provide water resource design and guide 5+ year on highway and bridge engineering projects. The position will be based out of our Mt. Laurel, NJ office. The candidate will be required to prepare engineering drawings, calculations, reports, and other related engineering tasks. The candidate will support transportation projects by performing a wide range of water resources related tasks. Tasks may include, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, stormwater management (SWM) design and compliance, roadway drainage design, soil erosion and sediment control design, flood studies, bridge hydraulics and scour analysis, and plan and report preparation.
McCormick Taylor is actively seeking an experienced mid-level Highway Engineer with a minimum of 6+ years of PennDOT highway/transportation design experience for our Philadelphia office. Successful candidate must be knowledgeable in PennDOT design criteria and standards; have experience in horizontal and vertical geometry, roadway modeling and cross section development, grading and drainage, intersection design, traffic control, signing and pavement marking, utility coordination, ADA Design, and right-of-way plan development.
The primary duties are to serve in a technical role under the direction of a Project Manager on Pennsylvania transportation projects with various agencies.

Previous experience collaborating with team members virtually is preferred. Note that this position is primarily remote, but the candidate will be expected to report to an office on an occasional basis in Mount Laurel, NJ.
